Welcome to Oakengates Medical Practice, where your care matters.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT OF REDUCED SERVICE AT HIGHFIELD SURGERY
Along with other practices in the country we have been struggling to recruit sufficient GP’s to meet our patients needs.
In order to maintain a high standard of medical care we have had to make some difficult decisions over recent months. With the support of our local CCG and NHS Area Team we are hereby giving notice of a reduction in surgery provision at Highfield Clinic our Hadley Branch site, for approximately six months, from the 1st September 2014.
During this period the Hadley site will only offer GP clinics on:
Monday, Thursday and Friday
And will be
Closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday
(We regret there will be no prescription collections on these closure days)
We understand the situation is not ideal however in light of our current reduced clinical workforce, we have no other choice but to reduce the service at Hadley to ensure the practice’s high standard of medical care is not compromised.
We will be keeping the current situation under regular review whilst addressing our GP recruitment shortfall.
We thank you for your co-operation during this time.
Oakengates Medical Practice were pleased to support 6 of its staff who competed in the London MoonWalk 2014.
Sian and Patsy successfully competed in the Full Moonlight Marathon whilst Jane, Karen, Suzanne and Lorraine competed in the Half Marathon on 10th May 2014. They raised a total of £2,210 for a very worthy cause. Congratulations and well done!
